Ferdinand's Gin, crafted by the 200-year-old Avadis Distillery, is infused with Riesling from the 275-year-old Zilliken winery. Named after Prussian District Forester Ferdinand Geltz, co-founder of the VDP Mosel Saar Ruwer Zilliken estate, this gin is a unique blend. Hand-picked Riesling grapes from the steep slopes of the Saarburger Rausch site are pot still distilled in small batches. With 34 regional botanicals, a proprietary grain spirit blend, and a touch of Schiefer Riesling, the gin rests for 4 weeks before being bottled at 44% ABV. Expect pine, juniper, lavender, lemongrass, lemon meringue, vanilla, and coriander aromas.
