Distilled in 2011 at Mannochmore distillery, this single malt spent over nine years maturing in a single barrel, producing a limited 227-bottle release. The nose is inviting with scents of baking sugar, ginger, sweet cinnamon, toasted almonds, and blossom honey. Untamed, the palate offers a gum-tingling, mouth-drying experience with notes of sweet black tea and spun sugar. Adding water reveals crisp hazelnut praline and the tempting aroma of freshly baked vanilla-sugar-topped butter cookies. The finish is sweet, light, and spiced, leaving a delightful aftertaste.
