Tequila Ocho emphasizes terroir by indicating the vintage and field of its harvested agaves. The San Jeronimo field, located near Arandas, Jalisco, has hilly, rocky terrain with deep, rust-red soil typical of the highlands. Exposed to full sunlight, the agaves matured with a high sugar content of 32%, resulting in a rich and concentrated flavor. This vintage produced 1,200 tons of ripe, pinto agaves, with piñas averaging 36.3 pounds, reflecting the unique qualities of the region in every bottle.
