Teeling doesn't tend to shy away from interesting cask experiments as its Wonders of Wood series demonstrates. The second edition takes a single pot still Irish whiskey, made with a 50/50 split of malted and unmalted barley, and pops it into casks made of virgin Portuguese oak, which is known for its high tannins.
